One of the most difficult things for a Niche Store Builder to do is write unique content. Although BANS is a wonderful piece of software, it is becoming more and more clear every day that on its own it will not be enough.
You need engaging, unique content to appease not only Google but to attract and keep visitors as well!
Unfortunately, often times the Niche Stores we build are based around products or services that we have very little personal expertise on. On the flip side of this coin, if you are someone who only builds stores about things you are knowledgable, then you have a leg up on your competition!
So for those of us who know nothing about womens handbags or gardening tools, there is a new tool which can help us out and get engaging, unique content onto our blogs!
It is called Caffeinated Content. Let me tell you, this plugin has created quite a buzz lately in the Niche Store world. After purchasing it and testing it myself, I can see why!
Caffeinated Content is a Wordpress plugin which allows you to search a database of Yahoo Answers, YouTube, and Article Directories for specific keywords (related to your niche!). The plugin then searches those sources for articles, videos, and comments on your keyword and imports them directly into your WP blog! You can literally go from an out of the box Wordpress blog with 0 posts to a content rich blog with dozens of posts in 5 minutes… BUT DON’T!
One thing we certainly do not want to do is create a generic “scrapper site”, because we will get the GoogleSlap almost immediately.
What we do want to do it use the articles that Caffeinated Content pulls into Wordpress and customize and tweak them to suit our needs, then publish!
In essence, we are taking a real question, asked by a real person, on a reputable website, and answering that question directly on our blog! Whether you leave the original question in its original form or convert it to fit the style of a more common article is up to you.
What do I mean by that? Let’s look at an example. Let’s say that the plugin pulls in the following question:

We could publish this question (and our custom tailored answer) in one of two ways… We could post it exactly as it appears, or we could tweak it to become an introduction to an article, like so:

So perhaps now you can see the potential of this plugin, when you are basically getting a unlimited trove of “article starters”, which is exactly what this plugin should be used as for Niche Store Builders.
It is worth noting that this plugin is primarily a time-saver, as well as a assistant to get ideas. You could manually search the same sites used by this plugin to achieve similar results, but it would be much less efficient.
It all boils down to what you feel your time is worth. Do you feel that doing something manually that you could automate is the best use of your time? If so, then this plugin is not for you.
