Hello everyone,
I last left off with a post talking about how I am simultaneously moving and preparing for my wedding (1 month and 3 days from today!)
I am happy to finally say that my internet connection is active at my new address. It was a mighty struggle, as the cable company had to literally send 4 different technicians and “underground” crews to get everything set up. This was a much more tedious and stressful ordeal than anticipated, but I am thankful that it is finally working, and I am doing my best to play ‘catch-up’ with all the recent work I have been unable to complete due to the move.
One funny thing that I realized throughout this whole ordeal however. I have not done any research into whether this is currently being done or not (I would anticipate that it is…), but a good niche marketer could make an abs0lute killing marketing to “soon to be moving” families. A niche site that contained links and reviews and (if you are savvy) coupons and discounts to places such as uhaul, cable companies/sattelite TV, etc…
I found it extremely frustrating and time consuming to go down my list of “to-do’s” for the move and realize that I needed to not only find the best prices for a truck to move our stuff, but also the most reputable tv, phone, and internet companies in my new home town. Having a one-stop-shop resource for things of this nature would be a gold-mine for a marketer willing to put in the time and effort to making it work!
So of course, when one of my reader’s launches this site I have proposed, I expect a cut of the profits
