Hello again everyone, just wanted the take the time to post another quick little update on the goings on with me.

As I mentioned last post, I sustained a pretty bad injury to my knee (just walking no less) and my first appointment with a orthopedic surgeon is Wednesday.  I will know much more after this appointment whether or not I will require surgery, although I am already quite sure I will.

Couple this with the fact that I am trying feebly to limp around school in crutches since we just began finals week, and you can understand why I have not been around as much.

I would however like to take this chance to talk a tiny bit about some of the other Internet Niche Marketing techniques I have been toying with lately.

  • First of all (this will be discussed in greater length in a post soon)  I have decided to stop using the BANS software in favor of PHPBay.
  • I have also decided to dabble in Clickbank affiliate marketing.  Here is my first official landing page offering:  Get Your Ex Back
  • I am trying to learn the nuances of PPC, not only for my Niche sites, but also for Candles For Cure.
  • I am also redesigning the entire Candles For Cure website with Zen-Cart.  It is very much a work in progress, but it will be a more robust solution on both the front and back end once it is completed.

So that is pretty much it.  I am going to highlight each of these points in posts soon as finals is over and I figure out what is going on with my knee.

Until then,

-Tyler

Tyler,

Much luck to you on the prognosis you receive tomorrow… Knee is serious stuff and hopefully you won’t have to deal with it.

Like you, I’m pretty much backing away from BANS. I think there is still a place for it, but it sure is hard to work with now that it has fallen out of favor with Google. phpBay Pro is MUCH easier!

Well, the *initial* prognosis is in…

I need to have an MRI taken (which will take a week or two due to HMO nonsense)

But the Doc seems to think I have “Bucket Handle” Meniscus tear in my knee.

Basically meaning its a combination of ACL/MCL/Meniscus tear if I understand correctly.

Certainly will require surgery and about 8 weeks of recovery then therapy.

I am not surprised by this, honestly I am relieved. I just hope they fix it, and fix it well so I can go on with my life!
Thanks for your concern!
