Take Your BANS To The Next Level!

By Tyler | Jul 14, 2008

Good afternoon everyone.  Today I would like to share some information on a new product being offered by someone whom I consider one of the very best Build a Niche Store guru’s out there, Mark Hansen.

One of the biggest pitfalls new users to BANS fall into is failing to sufficiently customize their template when building stores.  Not to say the default templates are bad looking or poor quality, they aren’t…  They simply are very overused, they are everywhere!  It is a smart move for any BANS user to realize that leaving the default template "footprints" out there on the internet is a bad move, which may or may not come back to haunt you down the road.

Enter, the Simple CSS Template Pack .  This template pack not only gives you a new and stylish look to your actual BANS store, but it has the added benefit (and it is a huge benefit) of being integrated with Wordpress.

Let me break this down for you.  Basically, upon installing this theme you will be able to have a Wordpress blog and a BANS store which run alongside each other.  No longer will you have to manually create content pages within the BANS admin panel (which is much less efficient and robust than doing so within Wordpress).  You will be able to use the full feature set of Wordpress to help drive traffic to your blog/store, and if you use the tools wisely your conversion rate and traffic are almost sure to increase by a large number.

The installation of this theme pack is a snap.  It involved you installing Wordpress and BANS normally as you would any other time, and then changing a few simple lines of code and voila!

I myself have purchased this template pack and I can say first hand that it is a joy to work with.  At only 29 bucks it is a real deal, considering how easily it can be customized (it is all CSS controlled).  Today if I can give you one piece of advice, it would be to give this template pack a shot.  You will not regret making the move to the wave of the future, where Wordpress and BANS work together!

Purchase the Simple CSS Template Pack!

    Thanks for the kind words!!

I am trying my best to get BANS back into the high performance machine it was just 6 months ago. Google is all over us with BANS sites and trying to be sure we provide value to the web versus just a click and go repeat of ebay listings.

BANS is such a strong backend - finding the way to integrate it with WP is just natural.

    @ Mark:

I am very honored to see you visiting the blog! Thanks for checking it out.

Your templates and teachings have certainly helped me see that in order for our BANS’ing to be successful, we need to provide value and content for our visitors and not simply try to get the almighty tracking cookie and call it a day.
